Adam Konkol

Adam Michał Konkol is a Polish guitarist, composer, lyricist, producer and founder of the band Łzy, born on 23 December 1975 in Rydułtowy. He is best known as the writer and composer behind many of Łzy’s biggest songs, including “Agnieszka już dawno…”, “Oczy szeroko zamknięte”, “Narcyz”, “Aniele mój”, “Niebieska sukienka”, “Opowiem wam jej historię” and “Jestem jaka jestem”. His songwriting style is built around direct pop rock melodies and emotional lyrics about relationships, loss, longing and everyday life. This approach made him one of the important creators of Polish pop rock at the turn of the 1990s and 2000s. - Adam Konkol’s first band was Rave, formed in 1992, four years before the creation of Łzy.
- Before focusing on Łzy, he also performed in The Pilators and Araka, showing that his musical activity began well before his best-known project.
- Konkol wrote repertoire for Paulla across two albums, “Nigdy nie mów zawsze” and “Sekret wiecznej miłości”.
- In 2014 he created the boy band 4Love, moving away from the standard guitar-based pop rock format associated with Łzy.
