Axwell
Axwell, born Axel Christofer Hedfors on 18 December 1977 in Lund, Sweden, is a Swedish DJ, record producer, remixer and label owner best known as one third of Swedish House Mafia. Raised in Sweden, he emerged as a central figure in Scandinavian house, helping to define a melodic, synth driven sound that would deeply influence global club music throughout the 2000s and 2010s. Over the years he has become a worldwide symbol of high quality progressive and house music, both as a solo act and as part of one of dance music’s most recognisable supergroups. - Axwell is a five time Grammy nominated artist, a distinction that sets him apart even among top tier house and EDM producers.
- He co founded Swedish House Mafia with Sebastian Ingrosso and Steve Angello, creating one of the most influential projects in festival house and EDM history.
