Bilon
Bilon, born Maciej Bilka, is a Warsaw rapper from the generation that helped build the foundations of Polish street hip-hop. His name is most strongly associated with Hemp Gru, a Mokotów-linked formation that remains one of the key groups in the history of Polish street rap. The safest date for his debut is 1998, because that is when the sources begin clearly confirming his activity in Hemp Gru. That phase shaped his public profile most strongly, since it was within that group that he helped build songs later treated by many listeners as scene anthems.
