Grzegorz Markowski
Grzegorz Bogusław Markowski was born on 23 September 1953 in Józefów and is a Polish singer, composer and lyricist, widely regarded as one of the most important vocalists in the history of Polish rock music. He is best remembered as the singer and frontman of Perfect, the band through which he built his legendary stage reputation and became one of the defining figures of Polish guitar-based music. Before becoming fully associated with Perfect, he performed in the vocal group Victoria Singers, and soon afterward joined the lineup gathered around Zbigniew Hołdys.
