Zbigniew Hołdys is a Polish rock musician, guitarist, composer, singer, lyricist, poet, columnist and graphic artist, widely regarded as one of the most important figures in Polish rock, best known as the co‑founder and leader of Perfect between 1977 and 1991. He was born on 19 December 1951 in Lublin and began his musical adventure as a teenager, playing in bands such as Kwiaty Warszawy and RH−, later joining Maryla Rodowicz’s group, which gave him his first major stage experiences. In the following years he worked with artists including Anna Jantar, Andrzej i Eliza and Dwa Plus Jeden, while developing his own projects such as Dzikie Dziecko.
