Łódź Summer Festival

Łódź Summer Festival is a free, three-day city festival held in Łódź as part of the city’s birthday celebrations. The event was launched in 2023 as one of the main attractions marking Łódź’s 600th anniversary. The first edition took place in the city centre and reportedly attracted around one million visitors. The first two editions were held in central Łódź, around Kościuszki Avenue and Radwańska Street. In 2025, the festival moved to Łódzkie Błonia near Konstantynowska and Juszczakiewicza streets. The new location made it possible to create a larger concert site, expand the food and partner areas, add relaxation zones and launch the official ŁSF Camp campsite. The festival’s main distinguishing feature is its free and open character. In previous editions, access to the concerts did not require a ticket, registration or a special city card. This allows Łódź Summer Festival to combine the scale of a major music event with the character of a city celebration open to local residents, tourists and visitors from other parts of Poland. The musical programme covers a broad range of styles and combines leading Polish artists with international stars. The festival includes pop, rock, alternative music, hip-hop, rap, R&B, electronic music and dance. Previous editions featured artists such as Louis Tomlinson, Shaggy, Kult, Doda, Sobel, Bastille, Natalie Imbruglia, Timbaland, Sean Paul, Rudimental, Mata, PRO8L3M and Justyna Steczkowska. The 2026 edition demonstrated the continued growth of the event. The festival site included two main stages, a large audience area, more than 80 food outlets, partner zones, food trucks, an amusement park, a 23-metre Ferris wheel and dozens of additional activity areas. The key stages were the mBank Main Stage and the Łódź Stage. Łódź Summer Festival is also part of the wider birthday programme of Łódź. During the festival weekend, additional concerts, cultural events and city activities may take place in the centre. As a result, the festival is not limited to the Błonia site, but becomes part of a broader celebration across the city. The 2027 edition is scheduled for 23–25 July 2027 and is expected to return to Łódzkie Błonia. At this stage, the date and location have been announced, while the lineup, stage schedule, concert times, detailed map, camping offer and transport arrangements are still awaiting publication.
