The Polish Phonographic Academy has announced this year’s Golden Fryderyki laureates, the honorary awards for outstanding contribution to Polish music culture. In 2026, the honors went to Kaja Danczowska, Lady Pank and Stanisław Soyka.
Soyka’s recognition stands out in particular. According to the announcement, he was selected independently by both the Popular Music and Jazz sections, underlining his rare position across genres.
Lady Pank receives the award in the year of its 45th anniversary. Kaja Danczowska was honored for her long-standing contribution to Polish classical music and her place among the country’s leading performers.
The Golden Fryderyk remains one of the most important honorary distinctions in Polish music. It is reserved for artists whose work has shaped the scene and influenced generations of listeners.
