She was the first Polish artist to sign with Blue Note Records, a move that carried both symbolic and industry weight by placing a Polish jazz vocalist in one of the most iconic jazz catalogs in the world.
Her album “Umiera piękno” was her first entirely Polish-language project and a major artistic turn, built around poetry connected to the experience of the Warsaw Uprising.
She spent part of her childhood in Manchester and, after returning to Poland, won the Warsaw Tennis Championship at fourteen before fully committing to music.
She received scholarships to the Stanford Jazz Workshop and Jazz Camp West in the United States, which shows that her development was recognized within international jazz education circles as well.
