Agnieszka Barbara Chylińska is a Polish singer, songwriter, columnist, children’s book author and TV personality, widely considered one of the most iconic rock and pop vocalists in Poland. She was born on 23 May 1976 in Gdańsk and started performing as a teenager, winning third prize at the French Song Festival in Zielona Góra in 1994. Around that time she briefly sang with the band Second Face and soon joined the rock and heavy metal group O.N.A., with whom she recorded five albums between 1994 and 2003 and became a symbol of the heavier side of Polish mainstream music. Between 1994 and 2003 she fronted O.N.A., whose albums „Modlishka”, „Bzzzzz”, „T.R.I.P.”, „Pieprz” and „Mrok” are now considered genre classics.
After O.N.A. she formed the band Chylińska and recorded „Winna”, a bridge between her heavy guitar past and the later electronic pop of her solo output.
Her solo albums – „Modern Rocking” (2009), „Forever Child” (2016), „Pink Punk” (2018) and „Never Ending Sorry” (2021) – are often described by her team as four distinct artistic „incarnations”.
She is one of the longest serving judges on a single talent show in Poland, having appeared on „Mam talent!” since its first season.
