Halina Mlynkova is a singer and songwriter who first became a symbol of Brathanki’s folk-pop breakthrough and later built a more personal solo path under her own name. She was born in Návsí in the Czech part of Cieszyn Silesia, grew up in a Polish family, and from an early stage remained closely connected to music and regional culture. Her earlier stage experience is linked to the “Olza” Song and Dance Ensemble, while her education included a medical high school in Cieszyn and ethnography studies at the Jagiellonian University.
