• JIMEK, the stage name of Radzimir Dębski, is a Polish composer, conductor, and music producer whose career sits at the intersection of film scoring, orchestral writing, and contemporary popular music. He was born in Szczecin on April 30, 1987, and the safest documented starting point of his professional activity is 2001.
• He comes from a deeply musical family, as the son of composer Krzesimir Dębski and singer-producer Anna Jurksztowicz. He studied at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw and also attended the University of California in Los Angeles, a background that helps explain how naturally he moves between academic composition and modern production language.
• The early part of his career was strongly connected to screen music. He co-created music for the long-running TV series “Ranczo” and later wrote or performed music for projects including “Warsaw 44”, “The Art of Loving. Story of Michalina Wisłocka”, “Panic Attack”, “Sexify”, and “Woman Of…”.
