Muniek Staszczyk

Muniek Staszczyk, born Zygmunt Marek Staszczyk on 5 November 1963 in Częstochowa, is one of the most important figures in Polish rock of the last several decades. He is a vocalist, lyricist, bandleader and one of the most recognizable personalities in Polish guitar music, with a body of work that combines punk energy, rock’n’roll, urban realism and social observation. His musical path began early. Before founding T.Love, he performed in the band Opozycja, and in 1982 he co-created the group Teenage Love Alternative in Częstochowa, which later evolved into T.Love and became one of the most important Polish rock bands.
