Popek, born Paweł Ryszard Mikołajuw, also known as Popek Monster, Król Albanii, Paweł Rak and Dziecko Wojny, is a Polish rapper, vocalist, lyricist, entrepreneur, freak fighter and media personality, born on 2 December 1978 in Legnica. His work combines elements of hip hop, gangsta rap, grime, dubstep, trap, as well as rock and dance music, making him one of the more unconventional artists on the Polish scene. He is recognizable not only for his music but also for his provocative image, scarification, tattooed eyeballs, gold teeth and controversial actions on social media.
