Ryszard Rynkowski

Ryszard Rynkowski was born in 1951 in Elbląg and developed musical interests from childhood. He learned piano, played in amateur groups, and as a high-school student already ran his own cabaret. His official musical debut came in 1972 with the group El at a student culture festival in Olsztyn. A year later he moved to Warsaw and began working with the Warsaw Operetta and the Targówek Theatre. In the late 1970s he became associated with Victoria Singers, which turned into the band Vox in 1978.
