Eugeniusz Bodo
Eugeniusz Bodo was born in 1899 in Geneva as Bohdan Eugène Junod, into a Polish-Swiss family. Soon after his birth, the family moved to Poland, and from an early age he absorbed the atmosphere of cinema and stage life, partly thanks to his father’s involvement in cinema venues. He quickly became associated with revue theatres and cabarets, turning into one of the most colorful personalities of interwar Warsaw. He performed in Qui Pro Quo, Morskie Oko, Cyganeria, and Cyrulik Warszawski, building an image of an elegant, witty, and very modern stage artist.
