Alicja Majewska is one of the key Polish stage singers, associated for decades with elegant songcraft, refined interpretation and repertoire written by some of the most important authors in Polish popular music. Born in Wrocław and educated at the University of Warsaw, she developed her path within the tradition of classic stage song rather than rock or purely commercial mainstream pop.
