Urszula Beata Kasprzak, known simply as Urszula, is one of the most recognizable Polish pop-rock singers. She was born on 7 February 1960 in Lublin and from an early age was connected with music, learning piano and accordion while developing her singing. Before reaching nationwide fame, she gained experience through contests and festivals. One of the early signals of her talent was an award for the song “Kopciuszek,” but the real breakthrough came only in the early 1980s through her collaboration with Budka Suflera.
