Artist Trivia
- Urszula learned piano and accordion from childhood, and began vocal training as a teenager in Lublin.
- Her stage name “Urszula” became fixed by accident in the recording studio, when engineers simply wrote down her first name instead of her surname.
- Her biggest early breakthrough came through collaboration with Budka Suflera, but sources stress that she was not a formal member of the band and functioned alongside it as Urszula with Budka Suflera’s accompaniment.
- Together with Budka Suflera, she created songs that became part of the Polish pop-rock canon, including “Dmuchawce, latawce, wiatr,” “Malinowy król,” and “Luz blues”.
