Artur Gadowski

Artur Dionizy Gadowski is a Polish rock singer, guitarist, composer, songwriter and producer, best known as the frontman and leader of the band IRA. He was born on 1 June 1967 in Szydłowiec and originally trained as a jeweller, but has been professionally involved with music since the mid‑1980s. After early experiences with local bands he joined IRA as lead vocalist in 1987, which marked a turning point in his career. Since then his distinctive voice, combining rock intensity with melodic phrasing, has become a hallmark of Polish rock.
