Andrzej Zaucha
Andrzej Zaucha, born Andrzej Rudolf Zaucha, was one of the most important Polish singers of the late 1970s and 1980s, and at the same time an artist who resisted easy genre labels. Born in Kraków, he combined jazz, pop, rhythm and blues and jazz fusion in his work, while also performing as a saxophonist, drummer and occasional actor. His beginnings did not follow a standard mainstream path, because he was a self-taught musician and first entered music as a drummer in the amateur band Czarty.
