Szymon Waliszewski is a Polish musician and drummer, best known as a co‑founder of the Poznań band Muchy. Together with Michał Wiraszko and Piotr Maciejewski he started the band in 2004, taking on the role of drummer and occasionally contributing guitars and backing vocals. Official line‑ups list him as Muchy’s drummer from 2004 to 2013 and again from 2018 onwards, when he rejoined the band for the Xerroromans reissue and later recordings, including the album “Szaroróżowe”. In interviews he recalls that his journey with drums began in 1992, when, at the age of eleven, he saw Metallica’s “Nothing Else Matters” video on TV, which sparked his desire to play.
