Bas Tajpan
Bas Tajpan, born Damian Krępa, came from Dąbrowa Górnicza and remained strongly connected to the city throughout his life, as well as to the wider Silesian and Zagłębie-based reggae and hip-hop scene in Poland. The safest way to frame his debut is to place it in the second half of the 1990s, although some sources describe the start more broadly as the mid-1990s without confirming one fully reliable year.
