Monika Maria Brodka, known simply as Brodka, is one of the most interesting and least predictable figures in the contemporary Polish music scene. She was born on 7 February 1987 in Żywiec and reached a wide audience already as a teenager. The turning point came in 2004. That was when she won the third season of “Idol,” which opened the way to her recording career.
