Dobrawa Czocher
Dobrawa Czocher is a Polish cellist and composer regarded as one of the most compelling younger artists working at the intersection of classical and contemporary music. She was born on 12 September 1991 in Tczew, studied at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, and later at the Hochschule für Musik in Detmold. At first, she was associated mainly with performance and chamber work. She appeared as a soloist, also played in orchestras including Neue Philharmonie Berlin and the Szczecin Philharmonic, and her education and competition prizes established her as a highly accomplished instrumentalist.
