L.U.C.
L.U.C., the artistic alias of Łukasz Rostkowski, is one of the most unconventional figures in Polish music of the last two decades, moving between rap, electronics, film scoring, educational projects, and multimedia performance. Artist Trivia
- One of his most distinctive ideas is the self-developed philosophy of the “four galaxies of art”, which treats music, film, graphics, and language as one integrated message rather than separate media.
- He received the Polityka Passport in 2010 for his innovative blending of disciplines and genres, which shows that he has long been seen as more than just a rapper.
- The album “PyyKyCyKyTyPff” was highly unusual in the Polish market, because every track was created without traditional instruments, using only processed voice.
- A major part of his career has been devoted to educational and historical works such as “39/89 – Zrozumieć Polskę” and “Warsaw WAR/SAW. Zrozumieć Polskę”, projects that combined music, archives, narration, and Polish history in a modern audio-drama format.
