Artist Trivia
- On November 28, 2012, he received the Gold Cross of Merit for outstanding contribution to national culture, and his official biography stresses that he was the first and only hard rock artist in Poland among the pioneers of heavy music to receive that distinction.
- In 2000, he performed in Warsaw with Glenn Hughes and sang “Burn” from the Deep Purple catalogue, an event his official biography presents as a high-profile meeting of two rock legends on one stage.
- In 2009, the book “Spowiedź Grzegorza Kupczyka,” written by Daniel Wolak, was published as an extended biography of the singer.
- Together with Janusz Musielak, he composed music for the Television Theatre production “Usta Micka Jaggera,” and the official biography says the production received awards for both music and script.
