Tomasz “Titus” Pukacki is one of the most recognisable figures in Polish metal, and his name is most strongly associated with Acid Drinkers, where he has served as vocalist and bassist from the very beginning. That band, founded in 1986, established him as one of the defining faces of Polish thrash metal and of the country’s broader heavy guitar scene. From early on, his strength came not only from stage energy, but also from a highly authored identity that mixed aggression, humour and a distinctly rock counterculture attitude.
