Hardwell
Hardwell, born Robbert van de Corput on 7 January 1988 in Breda, is a Dutch DJ, record producer and remixer widely regarded as one of the defining figures of early 2010s electro and big room house. Raised in Breda, North Brabant, he started DJing and producing at a young age, performing at local parties as a teenager before gradually moving onto the national and then international circuit. His official biography notes that he began “as a DJ, record producer and remixer in my hometown, Breda” and later rose to be voted the world’s number one DJ in DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs poll in 2013 and again in 2014.
