Jan-Rapowanie, born Jan Stanisław Pasula, is one of the most important Polish rappers of the younger generation, especially valued for sincerity, introspection and an everyday language that avoids forced posturing. He rose from the rap underground to arena-level popularity while keeping a style built more on observation, emotion and ordinary life than on an exaggerated persona. He was born on 21 November 1998 in Kraków. Before entering the official circuit, he worked in the underground and in 2015 independently released Notabene Mixtape, which for many listeners was his first real arrival on the scene.
