Kamil Hoffmann
Kamil Hoffmann is a Slovak rapper who initially performed under the name Zmrd before adopting his full name as his artistic identity. His position developed at the intersection of the Slovak hip-hop scene and the Czech Milion+ network, one of the region’s most prominent independent rap labels. Although his work has always been rooted in rap, his artistic development has increasingly moved toward melodic structures, emotional openness and more personal subject matter. According to his GoOut biography, he has been rapping since 2013. In 2015, he recorded “Nevieme kade ísť” with Savannah, described as the first single released through Milion+. A Decky Beats remix was later included on the “Million+ Paradise”...
Artist Trivia
- Before releasing music under his full name, Kamil Hoffmann performed as Zmrd. The name change formed part of a broader artistic shift from a raw crew-based rap identity toward a more personal author-led project.
- In 2015, he recorded “Nevieme kade ísť” with rapper Savannah, the first single released under the Milion+ banner. A Decky Beats remix later appeared on the “Million+ Paradise” compilation.
- His first EP, “V sieti”, was made with the Slovak hip-hop group Conspiracy Flat. It is significant because it placed him from the outset at the intersection of Slovak rap and the Czech-based Milion+ network.
- Together with producer and rapper Konex, he created two collaborative albums, “CORRETTO” in 2019 and “CORRETTO 2” in 2022. The pairing became one of the most sustained collaborative threads in his catalogue.
