Krzysztof Cugowski

Krzysztof Piotr Cugowski is a Polish rock singer, co‑founder and long time frontman of the band Budka Suflera, and one of the most iconic voices in the history of Polish rock music. He was born on 30 May 1950 in Lublin, where he completed his education at the State Music School as a piano student, giving him a solid classical grounding before he moved into rock. At the turn of the 1960s and 1970s he co‑created a Lublin based band that in 1969 adopted the name Budka Suflera and later became one of the pillars of Polish rock.
