Mela Koteluk

Mela Koteluk (born Malwina Koteluk) is a Polish singer, songwriter and composer, performing alternative pop with elements of rock. She was born on 3 July 1985 in Sulechów, grew up between Sulechów and Zielona Góra and has lived in Warsaw since 2002. Before launching her solo career she worked as a backing vocalist for artists such as Gaba Kulka and also performed with the Scorpions. Her solo career took off after appearing in song contests and was firmly established in 2012 with her debut album „Spadochron”. The record won her Fryderyk awards for „Debut of the Year” and „Artist of the Year”, while songs like „Melodia ulotna” and „Spadochron” became her first major hits.
