Niemoc
Niemoc is a Polish alternative band rooted in Zielona Góra, with its beginnings most safely dated to June 2013. Some later sources mention 2014 instead, but that more likely refers to the period of the first releases and the band’s entry into a broader concert and release circuit. At first, Niemoc operated as a duo formed by Michał and Filip and leaned more directly toward guitar-based new wave. The project soon expanded its language with more atmospheric synth textures, shoegaze elements and post-punk melancholy, and after Radosław Reguła joined, it settled into a trio format. Artist Trivia
- Niemoc started as a duo formed by Michał and Filip, and only later expanded when Radek joined as bassist and second guitarist.
- The band played its first concert on 6 June 2014 at Trzepak in Zielona Góra, only two months after releasing its debut EP.
- As early as December 2014, the group recorded a Boiler Room session during The Very Polish Cut-Outs Takeover in Poznań, which was a notable visibility boost at such an early stage.
