Opał, born Łukasz Opiłka, is a Polish rapper and lyricist from Chorzów, born on 7 April 1994. He is associated with personal, emotionally charged rap in which dark storytelling, social observation and mental health themes meet melodic hooks and modern production. His lyrics repeatedly return to loneliness, pressure, crisis, relationships, the search for belonging and attempts to come to terms with the past. Over time, he has evolved from rawer, horrorcore leaning underground material towards mature rap with a strong emotional and compositional identity.
