Retrospective
Retrospective is a Polish progressive rock band formed in 2005 in Leszno. The project was initiated by Robert Kusik and Maciej Klimek, and it originally operated under the name Hollow. By 2006, the lineup had expanded and the group recorded a demo that became its first step toward broader activity. A year later, the band officially adopted the name Retrospective and released the EP “Spectrum Of The Green Morning,” which marked the start of a new chapter. That release brought the group its first noticeable attention beyond the local scene. Artist Trivia
- Retrospective originally started under the name Hollow and only officially adopted their current name in 2007, alongside the release of their first EP.
- The EP “Spectrum Of The Green Morning” opened the door to a wider audience, including airplay on Polish Radio’s Program Trzeci and interest from international media.
- Positive reviews of that early release appeared not only in Poland but also in Germany, the Netherlands, France, the United States and Switzerland.
- After the growing response to their first material, the band signed with Lynx Music and later also worked with the German label Progressive Promotion Records.
