schafter, real name Wojciech Laskowski, is a Polish rapper, vocalist, producer, songwriter and music video director, widely seen as one of the defining figures of the new generation in Polish hip hop and alternative rap. He was born in 2003 in Kuźnia Raciborska in southern Poland and comes from the Silesian region near Racibórz, something he occasionally references when talking about his background. He started releasing music on SoundCloud and YouTube before turning 18, building an audience long before entering official streaming platforms and working with labels.
The track „dvd” with mlodymskinny became a small anthem of the young online scene, quickly topping one million YouTube views and opening the door to more high profile collaborations.
