Bisz, born Jarosław Jaruszewski, is one of the most distinctive figures in Polish intellectual and alternative rap. He comes from Bydgoszcz and has been valued from the start for thoughtful lyrics, a literary tone, and a willingness to combine rap with other musical languages. The safest way to date his musical debut is 1999, when he began his activity on the scene. However, the first release that reached a wider audience was the 2007 EP “Zimy,” recorded with Kosa, followed by further projects with B.O.K, Kosa, and Pekro.
