• The most important turning point in Tęskno’s history was not just stylistic, but structural. What began as a duo formed by Joanna Longić and Hania Rani became a solo project led by Longić from September 2019, which changed the creative center of gravity of the entire act.
• From the beginning, Tęskno was conceived more as a meeting point between song form and chamber music than as a standard pop band. Early concert descriptions explicitly highlighted the combination of vocals, piano, and a string quintet with modern production.
• The project entered the live circuit faster than the album market. Tęskno premiered in May 2017, and before releasing its debut album it had already played events such as Slot Art Festival and Warsaw Music Week.
• The creative division inside the early lineup was clear, but not rigid. Apple Music credits show Joanna Longić-Tokarska as lyricist and composer, while “Układ sił” credits the composition to Hanna Maria Raniszewska, which gives a useful glimpse into the internal co-authorship model.
