Wilku WDZ, whose real name is Robert Darkowski, was born on 2 March 1977 in Warsaw and is a Polish rapper, music producer, entrepreneur, director and actor. He is most strongly associated with Warsaw street rap and with the groups Molesta Ewenement and Hemp Gru, and his public profiles still link him directly with those formations. His official DIIL Gang profile lists his artistic activity as beginning in 1996, while the safest publicly confirmed recording debut is 1998, when Hemp Gru debuted with the track “Na krawędzi” on the compilation “Hiphopowy raport z osiedla w najlepszym wykonaniu”.
