Energa Siesta Festival 2026
Energa Siesta Festival is an intimate autumn festival of world and jazz music, born from Marcin Kydryński’s “Siesta” radio show and long associated with warm, melancholic sounds from around the globe. The 2026 edition takes place from 7 to 10 November in Gdynia and will celebrate lusophone, African and Latin music and jazz, with concerts by artists such as Angélique Kidjo, Mariza and Pedro Moutinho.

About
Siesta Festival was launched in 2011 in Gdańsk as an extension of the “Siesta” radio show, which was celebrating its 10th anniversary at the time.
From the start, Marcin Kydryński has curated the programme, bringing to the festival format the same elements that defined the show: music from Portugal, Cabo Verde, Brazil, Africa and Latin America, along with the gentler side of jazz.
For its first editions, the festival took place in Gdańsk venues such as the Baltic Philharmonic, Stary Maneż and various halls hosting the Night of Fado series, gradually expanding into a multi‑day event with a growing number of concerts and special evenings.
In 2026, for the 16th edition, Siesta Festival moves to Gdynia but remains faithful to its format of several festival evenings with world‑class world and jazz artists and intimate Nights of Fado.
According to the organizers, the 2026 edition will celebrate lusophone, world and jazz music and will also form part of the celebrations of Gdynia’s 100th anniversary.

Energa Siesta Festival 2026 will be held 7–10 November 2026 in Gdynia, primarily at the Danuta Baduszkowa Musical Theatre.
The event consists of a series of evening concerts, each ticketed separately, with numbered seating in the auditorium.
