Emade

Emade, born Piotr Waglewski, is one of the most important figures in Polish music production at the intersection of hip-hop, alternative music, and electronics. He comes from Warsaw and from the beginning of his career combined the skills of a beatmaker, drummer, and producer able to think about music more broadly than through a strictly rap-based formula. The safest way to place his debut is in the late 1990s, because he already appears as an active live musician in 1999. In the early 2000s he quickly built his position through collaboration with Fisz and Tworzywo Sztuczne, becoming one of the main architects of their distinctive sound.
