Fisz Emade Tworzywo
Fisz Emade Tworzywo is a Warsaw‑based Polish project that performs broadly defined hip‑hop infused with jazz, downtempo, funk, rock, and alternative pop. The project was formed in 2002 by brothers Bartosz “Fisz” Waglewski and Piotr “Emade” Waglewski, who had previously made their mark on Polish rap as RHX and later under the Fisz/Emade banner. In an interview with “Rzeczpospolita,” Emade explained that after the success of “Polepione dźwięki” and later releases, the constraints of classic hip‑hop started to feel limiting, which led to the creation of Tworzywo as a more experimental live band, eventually evolving into today’s Fisz Emade Tworzywo. Wikipedia describes the act as a fusion of earlier aliases...
Artist Trivia
- Interia’s review calls “Polepione dźwięki” a release that “changed the landscape of Polish rap forever,” highlighting the impact of the brothers’ earliest work.
- In interview, Emade explicitly says that the aliases Fisz, Fisz Emade, and Tworzywo are essentially a continuum of one project, with differences mostly tied to live configuration and the degree of experimentation.
- The term Tworzywo originally referred mainly to the live band associated with the album “F3,” and was later absorbed into the full Fisz Emade Tworzywo name.
- Spotify and analytics sites such as Music Metrics Vault emphasise that since around 2000 the brothers have released about ten albums blending hip‑hop with various shades of electronics and alternative.
