Klaus Mitffoch
Klaus Mitffoch is one of the key Polish new wave and post-punk bands, founded in Wrocław in 1979 by Lech Janerka, Krzysztof Pociecha, and Kazimierz Sycz. Wiesław Mrozik soon joined the lineup, and Marek Puchała later replaced Sycz on drums, forming the best-known version of the group. The band began in the underground circuit, and one biographical source notes that it did not yet have a fixed name until 1981. Its earliest clearly confirmed official stage debut was the 1981 Nowa Fala na Odrze festival appearance.
