The Bill

The Bill was formed in 1986 in Pionki by Dariusz “Kefir” Śmietanka and Dariusz “Skóra” Stawski, although sources tied to the band’s history also mention an earlier prototype dating back to 1984. The early years were shaped by rehearsals, concerts and line up changes, with the recording of the band’s first demo in 1989 standing out as an important early milestone. In 1990, Skóra left the band and Artur “Soko” Soczewica took over vocal duties. A few years later, the group released its debut album “The Biut” in 1993, followed by “Początek końca” and “Sex ’n’ Roll”, a record that drew sharply different reactions from critics and from the audience.
