Kwiat Jabłoni
Kwiat Jabłoni is a Polish band from Warsaw, most often presented as a duo of siblings Katarzyna and Jacek Sienkiewicz, the children of Kuba Sienkiewicz from the band Elektryczne Gitary. The group has been officially active since March 2018 and performs music that blends folk, pop, folk pop, bluegrass, indie folk, indie pop, and electronic elements. On stage, the duo is joined by additional musicians, but the core of the project lies in the characteristic combination of piano, mandolin, and their vocal harmonies. Artist Trivia
- Kwiat Jabłoni is a clear example of how folk oriented instrumentation (piano, mandolin) can be combined with modern electronic production without losing accessibility and song focused structure.
- The siblings’ earlier work in Hollow Quartet and appearance on “Must Be the Music” meant that the band did not come out of nowhere, but was built on several years of stage experience.
- The rapid success of “Dziś późno pójdę spać” positioned them as one of the key new voices in young Polish pop, despite a strong folk flavour.
- Winning the Złoty Bączek poll and performing at Pol’and’Rock showed that Kwiat Jabłoni works just as well in clubs as on major festival stages.
