KARAŚ/ROGUCKI
KARAŚ/ROGUCKI is a Polish duo, expanded on stage into a full live band, created in 2019 by Kuba Karaś and Piotr Rogucki after the suspension of The Dumplings and Coma. The project is most strongly associated with the blend of Karaś’s electronic production sensibility and Rogucki’s distinctive voice and lyrical, emotionally charged writing, resulting in a sound that sits between alternative pop, new romantic, cold wave, post-rock, and guitar-driven electronics. The starting point for the collaboration was a cover of T.Love’s “1996,” which became the first publicly released track by the project and earned a Fryderyk nomination for Best New Interpretation.
