Artist Trivia
- Loco Star started attracting attention early, and their appearance at the first Polish edition of Creamfields in 2003 helped place them on the country’s alternative electronic map.
- One of the band’s important early milestones was supporting Barbara Morgenstern, which shows the kind of international artistic context they were associated with from the start.
- Their debut album triggered comparisons to acts such as Dr. No, Husky and Télépopmusik, placing Loco Star closer to a European electro-pop sensibility than to straightforward mainstream pop.
- The track “So Light” was included on the 2005 compilation “Polskie Leniwe, serwuje Novika,” which gave the band additional visibility in Poland’s chillout-oriented circuit.
