We Draw A
We Draw A is a Polish duo from Wrocław, active since 9 July 2012, formed by Piotr Lewandowski and Radosław Krzyżanowski. From the start, the project was placed within alternative electronic music, though its sound was also described as a mix of romanticism, modern pop and inspiration drawn from Western independent music. What matters here is that the band did not begin as a blank-slate project, because both musicians already had substantial backgrounds on the scene. Piotr Lewandowski had been associated with Indigo Tree, Boar Sleeping, Mifune and SWNY, while Radosław Krzyżanowski was connected with Kamp!, which positioned We Draw A from the outset within a broader Polish alternative network. - From the beginning, We Draw A was built by musicians who were already recognizable on the Polish alternative scene, with Piotr Lewandowski coming from projects such as Indigo Tree, Boar Sleeping, Mifune and SWNY, and Radosław Krzyżanowski known from Kamp!
- The duo played Open’er Festival as early as 2014, which means it reached a major stage very soon after launching the project.
- After releasing its second album, “Ghosts,” in 2016, the band returned to Open’er Festival, closing an important first chapter of its career.
- Concert materials state that after the first two major releases, We Draw A played more than 100 shows, including appearances at Open’er, Audioriver, Tauron Nowa Muzyka and OFF Festival.
