Marcin Sójka is a Polish singer, songwriter, and sound engineer from Siedlce who gained nationwide recognition after winning the ninth season of The Voice of Poland in 2018. His stage story began much earlier, however, as he appeared in Peter Pan at the Roma Musical Theatre as a child, which remains the earliest publicly confirmed stage milestone in his career. Before television brought him national visibility, he developed mainly within his hometown’s cultural scene. Before becoming nationally known, he worked as a sound engineer at the Siedlce Centre for Culture and Arts, so his understanding of music extends well beyond performing on stage.
His stage career began very early, when he played the title role in Peter Pan at the Roma Musical Theatre after being noticed by Janusz Józefowicz and Janusz Stokłosa.
Before his television breakthrough, he was deeply involved in Siedlce’s local music scene, including Teatr ES and the local Military Orchestra, which gave him strong ensemble and live-performance foundations.
After winning The Voice of Poland, he did not remain a one-single TV success, because he released the album Kilka prawd in 2019, and the record later achieved gold status.
