Partia
Partia was a Warsaw rock band built around Lesław, Arkus and a succession of bass players, first Modern, then Waldek and later Szewko. The exact starting date is slightly disputed, because the encyclopedia entry gives 1995, while Jimmy Jazz catalog descriptions trace the band’s activity back to 1993. The most firmly confirmed recording debut is the 1998 album “Partia”. That record already contained the songs that became central to the band’s legacy, especially “Warszawa i ja”, “Chłopak czy dziewczyna”, “Piękny chuligan” and “Tydzień i jeden dzień”.
