Slums Attack
Slums Attack (also known as SLU) is a Polish hip-hop group from Poznań, founded in 1993 by Ryszard “Peja” Andrzejewski and Marcin “Iceman” Maćkowiak. Since 1998, the core lineup has been built around Peja and Dariusz “DJ Decks” Działek, helping the act become one of the most recognizable names in Polish street rap. After a period of operating in a different format, DJ Decks returned in 2024, while the live lineup has also been expanded under the SLU GANG banner.

- Slums Attack released its earliest recordings in 1993 on the cassette Demo Staszica.
- The group followed it with another tape, Demo Studio Czad, two years later.
- Their first official album, Slums Attack, came out in 1996 and included tracks such as “997,” “Śmierć,” “Bronx,” and “Przemoc.”
- DJ Decks joined the lineup in 1998, and Całkiem nowe oblicze became the first album recorded in that configuration, released in 1999.
